As we know, TGIT is back! Which means our favorite, scandalous, business women is about to grace our screens again. Have we all noticed that Ms. Olivia Pope can definitely get down and dirty while still keeping a flawless face?

Despite the scandal, we can definitely admire how beautiful and classic she looks throughout each episode. One would never imagine her daily events.

As a strong business woman, we definitely want to look appropriate. We do not want to add too much of any product. In order to mimic Olivia's look, we have to avoid cakey foundation. We know she is wearing makeup but it seems like it is lightly applied.

Foundation

1. A great foundation that I would recommend is the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick. This product leaves a nice velvety finish. Applied with a damp beauty blender, the foundation will blend evenly and seamlessly into the skin. These two products combined will give you a very light makeup look that is appropriate for the work place.

Eyes

Sticking with neutral, earth tone colors for your eye makeup is not debatable. We want to be taken seriously in the office. Bright red or green eye shadow will not do that for you.

Start in the crease of your lid with a nice brown color that isn't too light, or too dark. If you are not sure which brown is right for you and this look, start off with a lighter brown and work your way to a darker tone if needed. You definitely want to blend this color out and downward to blend into the eyelid color that you will apply.

Next, find a nude color to apply to the lids.

Grab a brush that can blend these two shadows together to give a gradient effect between the two.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette is great for this look (great for any look honestly).

I would recommend Raw Sienna or Cyprus Umber for the crease color, and Golden Ochre or Warm Taupe for the lid.

If you do decide to add eyeliner, try your best to apply lightly. Only apply to the top lid. NO WINGS!

I would typically stay away from false lashes for a professional work look and just add mascara. However, if your natural lashes are really thin or short, you can definitely ad falsies. I find that a simple pair of Ardell Fashion Lashes would be perfect for this look. They aren't too long or dense and will compliment the eye shadow.

Face

Any highlight and contour products should be fine. Again, the amount of product applied is what is important. Don't go too dark with the contour, we have many other occasions snatch lives with our sharp contour. Please blend into foundation well.

You can bring the face together with a light blush. Mac Cosmetics Love Joy is an ideal choice or you can also apply theBalm Cosmetics CabanaBoy Blush. These blushes are very subtle.

Lips

To complete this look, grab your favorite nude lip color. This would not be a Olivia Pope makeup look without that staple nude lip. the Lips can be lined with everyone's favorite which is Mac Cork. This can be paired with Mac Honey Love lipstick. Any nude combination that works for you is fine.

A matte or satin finish will do the job.

Some of us are drawn to highlights but that is simply too much for a professional business woman look. Leave that item out for this look.
